YG-1 Expands EV MILLS Lineup for Europe with Die & Mold-Optimized Range
Extended Length-of-Cut and Broader Size Selection for Mold Machining Applications
YG-1 has expanded of EV MILLS solid carbide end mill lineup for the European market. The EV MILLS gained strong market
attention for its ultra-fine grain carbide substrate, proprietary Y-coating, and compact 1xD short length-of-cut design, delivering
chatter-free cutting, high-speed stability, and cost-efficient performance across a wide range of materials.
Building on this success, YG-1 has introduced an expanded range specifically developed for the die & mold industry. The new lineup
extends the length-of-cut up to 3xD to support deeper
cavity machining while maintaining rigidity and process stability. Engineered with die & mold-optimized geometry, the tools are designed
for stable machining of pre-hardened steels commonly used in injection molds, die casting molds, and press dies. The expanded range
also broadens the size selection from Ø1mm to Ø12mm and offers greater flexibility in both 2-flute and 4-flute configurations, allowing
customers to select the most suitable geometry for roughing and finishing operations.
With this expansion, YG-1 strengthens EV MILLS as a cost-efficient, comprehensive solution for European customers seeking precision,
reliability, and productivity in die & mold manufacturing environments.
