  YG-1 has launched EV MILLS for the American market, an economical high-performance solid carbide end mill line developed for short length-of-cut slotting, side milling, and profiling applications. 

EV MILLS is engineered to perform reliably in driven tooling environments such as lathes, Swiss-type machines, and mill-turn centers, while remaining fully compatible with traditional machining centers. 

As driven live tool units continue to be widely adopted across the American market, EV MILLS address the need for stable and application-focused cutting solutions.



Designed with a reduced length shank and an effective cutting length of approximately 1.5xD, EV MILLS reduces raw material consumption and grinding time, resulting in improved cost efficiency. The 

short overhang design enhances rigidity and reduces bending forces, which is particularly important in driven units with limited structural stability. By lowering stress on spindle bearings, EV MILLS enables 

more aggressive cutting parameters while maintaining consistent part quality. Additional length-of-cut options are available to complete the product range.



EV MILLS incorporates advanced cutting geometries, a wear-resistant carbide substrate, and YG-1’s AlCrN-based Y-Coating to ensure reliable machining performance and extended tool life. The lineup includes
