Enhancing Productivity and Performance in Demanding Applications
YG-1 has launched a new CVD turning grade, YG2025, designed for stainless steel turning applications. This innovative grade takes advantage of CVD coating with its high-speed capability and excellent wear resistance,
making it an ideal choice for achieving high productivity in stainless steel machining. The advanced coating technology of YG2025 ensures stable processing while offering exceptional wear resistance.
YG2025 features a new substrate that undergoes a specialized sintering process, resulting in an optimal combination of high wear resistance, mechanical stress stability, and increased chipping resistance.
The combination of the unique substrate and the innovative coating technology minimizes the occurrence of built-up edges and enhances the grade's overall chipping resistance, ensuring reliable chip control across a range
of stainless steel materials.
YG2025 is offered with optimized chip breakers for enhanced chip control and machining efficiency. Negative inserts include MF, MG, and MR, and positive inserts include MF and MM.
