Newly Introducing PVD Coated Turning Grade YG411 for Heat-Resistant Super Alloys

Newly Introducing PVD Coated Turning Grade YG411 for Heat-Resistant Super Alloys
YG-1’s First-Choice Grade for High-Speed HRSA Turning
YG-1 has launched YG411, a new PVD-coated turning grade specifically developed for high-speed turning of heat-resistant superalloys (HRSA). YG411 combines a specially engineered carbide substrate
with an advanced high-aluminum-content PVD coating to deliver exceptional tool life, process reliability, and productivity in demanding HRSA applications.
The substrate provides excellent resistance to heat and deformation, allowing the cutting edge to remain stable under the intense temperatures and forces generated when machining HRSA materials.
The newly developed PVD coating delivers reliable performance across a wide range of cutting speeds. Its optimized composition provides excellent resistance to crater wear and oxidation, even during
high-speed machining. A specially designed outer layer also protects the cutting edge against early-stage wear, improving performance consistency and extending tool life.
By optimizing the balance between the substrate and coating, YG411 delivers outstanding thermal stability and consistent cutting performance in demanding HRSA turning applications,
making it YG-1’s first-choice grade for high-speed turning.
