YG-1’s Next Generation of Solid Carbide Universal End Mills to Succeed V7 Plus

  YG-1 has pre-launched V7 Ultra Steel and V7 Ultra Inox in Europe and the Americas, introducing a new generation of solid carbide universal end mills designed to advance productivity and

process reliability in steel and stainless steel machining.

Developed to succeed V7 Plus, V7 Ultra Steel features Y-Coating and offers up to 60% higher material removal rates than V7 Plus in steel machining. V7 Ultra Inox features C-Coating optimized 

for stainless steel and offers up to 70% longer tool life than V7 Plus in stainless steel machining.

Both lines are engineered for smooth, stable machining from roughing to finishing. Their positive flute shape helps reduce machining noise, while variable helix and pitch and special clearance 

geometry help control vibration. An advanced wide core provides the rigidity needed for reliable cutting throughout the process.

In Europe, both V7 Ultra Steel and V7 Ultra Inox are offered as chamfered square end mills with necks, available with plain or flat shanks. In the Americas, V7 Ultra Steel is available as square, 

corner-radius and ball-nose end mills, while V7 Ultra Inox is available as square end mills, all with plain shanks.

The full product ranges of V7 Ultra Steel and V7 Ultra Inox are scheduled to become available in both regions in December 2026.
