YG-1 Strengthens X-Drill (SYMX) Indexable Drill Lineup with Expanded Diameter Coverage and Additional Insert Sizes

Expanded Drill Body and Insert Range Enhances Machining Versatility

YG-1 has expanded its X-Drill (SYMX) indexable drill lineup to support a broader machining range by increasing drill diameter coverage and introducing new insert sizes.

The X-Drill drill bodies are engineered with twisted internal coolant channels and optimized flute surface treatment, delivering consistent tool life and precise hole quality. 

The size range now spans 14 mm – 50 mm in metric and .563''– 2'' in inch diameters.

The X-Drill inserts feature a wave-shaped cutting edge that allows all four corners to be used without interference. The inserts are also designed with identical inner and 

outer geometries, enabling the same insert to be used in both central and peripheral pockets, improving inventory efficiency and reducing cost. With the addition of insert 

sizes 13 and 15, the lineup now supports a wider range of drilling diameters and machining applications.

These enhancements expand the overall application range of the X-Drill, reinforcing its position as a versatile and reliable solution for diverse drilling requirements.
