Total 2,021 New Items Including New Milling Concepts, PCBN Turning Insets, Grades and Chip Breakers Have Been Added

  YG-1 has released its updated Indexable Inserts Metric 2025-2026 Catalog, featuring a wide range of new items including new milling concepts,

PCBN turning inserts, grades, and chip breakers to meet diverse machining requirements. Also, the digital PDF version includes an interactive feature

for easy navigation between pages.

Major updates in the catalog are as follows:

1. TURNING

- YG3125 Grade: YG-1's advanced CVD turning grade for high cutting speed and extended tool life in steel.

- YG2035 Grade: A new CVD turning grade optimized for low cutting speed and interrupted cuts in stainless steel

- YG1020 Grade: A new CVD turning grade optimized for various ductile cast iron.

- YT100G Grade: A new cermet PVD turning grade, YT100G, delivers excellent surface finish and outstanding wear resistance.

- PCBN Insert: YG-1’s brand new PCBN turning inserts optimized for hardened steel.

2. PARTING & GROOVING

- Size Expansion of Parting & Turn-Groove Inserts: Newly added widths from 5 to 8 mm accommodate more demanding machining requirements.

3. MILLING

- YG TM4 MILL LNKU: A new 4-corner tangential 90° shoulder milling insert with a tangentially mounted insert for various milling applications.

- YG 904 Grade: A new PVD milling grade optimized for machining difficult-to-cut materials.

4. DRILLING

- X-Drill: YG-1’s new X-Drill captive drill fully utilizes all four corners and uses the same insert for both center and periphery positions.

The holder size range has now been expanded.
